my hair is naturally wavy/kinda curly. i straighten it most of the time and i have an oval face. here is a good example of how my hair looks.

could i get away with a bob or a just under the chin cut?

Since you have an oval face, you can pretty much wear all kinds of hair cuts/hairstyles. Although, if you have one of those days where you can't straighten your hair, the bob haircut will end up being a little shorter than straight hair would.



If you don't want your hair to be too short, you might want a bit of allowance, you might want to have your hair just below the chin. Though, since you said you straighten your hair often, then it shouldn't be a problem.
I think it looks good how it already is!

If I were you I wouldn't cut it.



But if you really want to,

try cutting it like you said, just a little below the chin and almost touching the shoulders.

if you like it and feel confident it looks better shorter, than go for the bob! :]

And even if you end up not liking it, don't stress it. It'll always grow back and it's possible to flaunt anything with the right products!
