Could I pull off a very short hair cut? (Pictures included)?

What I want is a short hair cut. It's ';short'; now, and I actually do really like my hair type, but I want it a lot shorter because it's poofy and has a mind of its own and people don't take me seriously because of it.



My hair is VERY thick and VERY curly.

It's now styled as a sort of ';bob,'; which is a hair cut that completely doesn't fit my type of hair-- my hair is now, when dry, like a massive triangle.

...sorry I'm really not that photogenic, and I didn't really know what type of photos to take.



I asked feedback from my dad about cutting it short. He's a tad homophobic/silly, though, so instead of giving me an objective opinion he said it would make be look ';too severe'; or, essentially what he's getting at, like a lesbian.



I don't mind looking masculine, really. I want a short hair cut that looks good, though.





1) Can I pull it off?

2) What hair styles do you know of that would give me some volume or be interesting and work for my curly hair? Any pictures or ideas?

3) Do you think I should do it? I really want to, but then again cutting my hair how it is now is what I wanted to do, and that failed miserably. I'm sort of wishy washy, and I need help.Could I pull off a very short hair cut? (Pictures included)?

...but from the 1st and 2nd pics in the set of 4, it seems like the edge of your frontal hairline is at a place where the skull has turned mostly horizontal to the top of the head. I am not sure if this is because you have a loose scalp and you have your hair pulled back tightly into a pony tail. So, I think a hairline revealing style would look fine, but it might look better with the hair partly on to the forehead and just covering the hairline. A Forward Brush doesn't usually look the best with straight hair but suits wavy/curly hair:

Well, I think the shape of your head and your facial features would be okay with a very short haircut, even all the way down to a buzz cut.



I think you should go for it, it's really the only way you'll know.



If it's really bad, don't worry. It'll grow back. :)

Okay, so i don't agree with the other person.

1) I think your hair is pretty.

2)I think you can cut it short, but, not too short.

3)Bangs will do goooooooddddddddd!

4)You can (DON'T HAVE TO) put like eyeliner a bit which would look good with short hair.

5) Get layers with the short hair.

You will deff look good.
