I havn't cut my hair for more than 10 years. My hair is almost to my ankles.I keep my hair because of a bad haircut 12 years ago,and I never go to barber shop again after that.Because of the lenght,I have to put my hair into a large bun every day.
My hair has become a part of me.what will I feel if i cut my long hair?will i feel very sorry and very sad after the cut?.Should I cut my hair now to try some short style or just keep it until I am totally tired of all that hair?
A lot of girl friends of mine told me that i should cut it,because my long hair was out of fashion even a little gross. And I can't make the decision. Please give some advice.Cut or not cut?I am a little afraid of the shorter cut.Don't tell me to donate it.I want to keep the hair (if I cut it)as a memento of your long hair days and my young time.

Very long hair is beautiful and feminine but not very practical and not a style you can keep forever. It's time to cut it.
It's normal to feel anxious and sad about having your hair cut, and many women even cry when it is done. But once they get used to it, they realize that cutting it short was for the best.
After years of long heavy hair, you should go for a short cut that will be easy to take care of. That means a bob above your shoulders, or even a pixie. It will be a shock at first, but it will get it all over with at once so you don't have to be traumatized multiple times. If you cut to your waist or your elbows, you're going to get upset again when it's time to cut above your shoulders.
So you don't back out, make an appointment to have your hair cut in one to two weeks, and stick to that commitment. That will give you time to prepare, and to enjoy your long hair for a brief period more. If you're extremely anxious when the time comes, consider having the first cut done at home where there is more privacy. You can braid your hair at the nape of your neck, and have your husband or a friend cut off the braid just above your shoulders. That way, the hard part is over quickly, and if you get upset, it is in the privacy of your home.
Good luck.Is it time for a short hair cut?
I think you should cut it. But take baby steps. Cut it to your elbows first and make sure you like it, and then maybe shorter. At first, you probably will be sad you cut it, but after a while you will start to like your short hair better. Short hair is a lot easier to manage. I think you will like it! It's summer time, it's time for change :)
You look like a hippie and no way fashionable.
Why not donate about 11 inches or more to Locks of Love?
Why not get a stylist haircut to your shoulders, first? Try that for a while and maybe you'll decide to go shorter.
It's only hair - it will grow back. Don't be afraid - GO FOR IT.
Locks of Love will thank you ';immensely';.
CUT IT
but
not to short
just like 5 or 6 inches
at first i mean
you must have really bad split ends
and i cant even imageineing tryign to
wash that hair
if you want your long hair back just let it grow so dont get it cut to short cos
you may feel really upset
wen its cut off
ok
x
i like it.
You definately need a cut. I think you should cut it to the middle of your back and face frame the front. You will look 10 years younger.
Take a look at this style...you could go a little longer.

I believe it's most definitely time to cut it. I imagine that hair length is hard to manage and sometimes painful for you head...not to mention, it's not in style.
Yes, you will miss your hair at first, everyone does at some point, but you will learn to love your new hair cut.
Besides, you don't have to get it all chopped off at once. You can still have beautiful long hair that is IN style.

I think it's beautiful and I understand how you are attached to it because i'm attached to mine too, i almost cried when i had an inch cut off. it may be out of ';style'; but i love it. if you want to fit in that badly, then cut it to your waist or something, plenty of celebs have hair that long and it's gorgeous, you'll also be able to do more with it and have less maintenance.
