why dont you get it really short at the back and then longer at the front kinnda like rhianas in the umbrella video? and the have thefront bangs and let the slope down so that they get longer at the sides this will look very niceand stylish!

Depending all your facial features, your skin tones and you hair colour it will depend whether this would like nice, but i would firstly get a professional opinion, also do it face to face so that they can see all your tone and features.
