Short Hair Cut??? Pics/Ideas/Suggestions!!?

ok so heres the thing. my parents are totally against all out emo/punkish/scene lookin stuff. but i love it. i need something that is right in the middle more towards what they'd approve of than what i love. anywhere from chin to a bit above the shoulder is fine. i need easy to work with. layers are great i love layers and bangs that are preferably not in my eyes (parents hate that too) please help.Short Hair Cut??? OK, so short hair is super in right now, and will be this spring, summer and fall...



What you can do is look in all fashion magazines (not gossip...) as in Elle, Vogue, ZooZoom, Hilary, Lucire etc... and look at the models hair styles. There you can see lots of different short styles - some of them are way in to punk, some are more classic and some are very natural....

There are also a lot of styles that are so wonderful that you can wear them in different ways in different occasions; punk, classic and natural - you choose!



One idea is to keep your natural color - that is a bit ';calm'; looking in your parents eyes (if that is a worry for you), but you can also gloss it up with glitter spray, glossy glimmery wax or gel.... Also, by keeping your own color, you are also taking a whole lot better care of your hair....

I have a mid-length hair cut atm, it's one of those bobs but I scrunch it up when I blow-dry it so that it looks all puffy and non-bob-ish. You could do that for something different. My hair's really layered as well, it's thinner than most bobs, giving it me the flexibility to toy around with it easier without it being all weighed down by wax and spray. I can give you more tips on how to blow-dry/style it if you want.

Although I totally agree with them hating it.

Scene hair is probably the worst and most disgusting look nowadays
cut your hair right to your elebows .... then maybe and a little red hilights ... and a little eye linner u should be set to go
