I just painted my skateboard, it's dried and there is fluff and hair from the paint brush stuck in the paint, how do i get it out?How do you get fluff and paint brush hair out of dry paint?
i think it would be better if leave ur pain brush in tarpin or kerosene oil for 1-2 dayHow do you get fluff and paint brush hair out of dry paint?
It all depends on the type of paint you have used.If you have used something like car cellulose, there are some foam blocks with Wet and Dry abrasive on the surface. These are used wet and you start off with the course side and then the finer side and plenty of water.Eventually you will achieve a smooth dull finish, which when dried gives you a good surface to work on again. If you have used household paints make sure they are dried before trying the same technique.Exterior glossy oil based paints take a couple of days to dry, again the same technique works, but be careful if the paint has skinned over, the undercoat can be sticky if you are too soon in rubbing down. When you repaint use a clean brush that does not moult. It could be that the paint you used has dissolved the glue that bonds the bristles togther.Work in a clean space to prevent fluff.Try a paint that dries quickly.
Use the sharp tip of a scalpel or craft knife to gently ease a bit of it out, then it should all come off when you pull it. Use the back of your fingernail to gently flatten down the ridges left in the paint after it has been removed.
in the long run it is quickest to sand down, and paint again with better brush, and still atmosphere
ooh ouch. no easy way except to repaint with a higher quality brush, or try and pick at them with a needle.
or just get out there do some grinds and they'll come out
If you can't pick it out with tweezers or something, try a light sandpaper and sand it out.
