I need cut short hair cuts?

I have long hair and im planning on cutting it well because i can. lol. But i want it a little above shoulder legth so not to short. Can someone give me some ideas and please PLEASE include pics.

id say dont cut it. your gonna regret it i do every single time, even when u think u wont.
no idea. maybe get cut the lenght u want and if it is thick then maybe some layering down the back.
