It really doesn't matter. If you're a bigger girl (as I am), and you really love/need short hair, get something that would flatter your head shape, and be confident! If you at least appear confident with your haircut in front of people, it won't look bad!

Look .. not to mean or anything, I actually like thick girls, but not FAT girls, fat girls are just too much, apart from a short hair cut making their heads look small and comical, if they are really fat it makes them look bigger and rounder... this pretty little face with a short hair cut and then this HUGE massive body... no good, not good at all
yes, I think short hair is not good for larger people because longer hair has kind of a balancing effect on the whole picture...it helps to blend the head and neck into the body instead of cutting it off.

First of all, it is not polite to call big people ';fat';. I myself am big. Very big! And i wear my hair very short. It dosen't cover my face so my face looks smaller. I wear a big beautiful smile almost always so that people will look at my face instead of my body. And of course, i am very friendly so my friends don't care about how big i am. They only care that i am their friend.
I think you need to wonder what fat people think of people like you who ask these type of questions!

On most fat people, the hair is the last thing they need to worry about...but it does make their heads small, faces fatter,,but long hair isn't attractive either, sooooo....
fat is fat, hair wont hide it or make it look proportional, your hair should compliment your face.

I don't thnk it makes a difference. I'm heavyset with short hair but mine is more medium length. You just have to try different thngs until you find what works for you. I still havent' found that ';one'; hairstyle yet, lol.
Actually yeah. I hope that's not mean. For men it really doesn't matter, but for women, sometimes big girls need big hair.

Interesting question. My cousin is huge and has been most of her life, she has a very short hair cut and looks very like the little dumpy on Kath %26amp; Kim - bit of an ooh-arrr look. I think you're right about short hair making bodies look bigger - I don't think heads can put on weight. Same thing when it's the other way round - very skinny people look like lollipop ladies ... so you see, the head never lies ...
It does make a difference........long hair is better........but if you like short hair its all right try it out.............unless your hair grows super slow like mine

It would depend on the shape of the face...A round face is best complimented by long hair. It thins our your face if you hair is past your chin.
It would depend on the shape of your face. short hair looks good on those that have high cheek bones. If you're like me and have a rounder face stick wtih shoulder or longer lenght. Also if you want a little of both get a star cut or they may also call it halo cut. Its a really nice hair cut!

Long hair for everyone!
My ex was a very hefty lady and looked good with short hair. But largely (no pun intended) I think it depends on the person. Some can carry it off, some can't. In fact going with your head size theory, I guess if your head's large you are more likely to get away with it.
