Short hair cuts?

I am getting a really short hair cut.. like pixie or something.. and I am afraid its going to look bad.. and make me look older.. any hairstyling tips..? or ideas/pictures of what haircut I should get. Thanks!Short hair cuts?
Hun, you sound as if your being forced to get a short cut! Why are you cutting it? I've had a wonderful cut for years (I had long hair and decided to go short one day) It's called graduated bob and it's a beautiful cut I got compliments from people almost every day! I am trying to grow it out now because I miss having long hair but I will definitely miss the compliments!

I went on the net and found some pictures that I liked. While I like short hair because of my age, I was also sick and unable to do much with it so I had it cut real short. I also lost down to 96 lbs so that didn't help with the hair cut at all. I wear it short still and I gained weight so everyone tells me I look better. I just put some mousse stuff on it, take my fingers and flip it out kind of like it's sticking out in the back and blow it dry using a comb. It doesn't take more than 10 minutes and have had many compliments. I also high light my hair a lighter color - actually wanted it white because I'm graying but my hairstylist didn't recommend that I go to those extremes but it is a blonde color.



Just go on the net, I'm sure you can find something very pretty you will like and if you don't, remember that hair does grow back.

I think short hair like that only works on the really thin girls.. other wise it looks a little boy-ish to me.
I recomend going and getting it done by some one who knows what they are doing. I just got it done i had a hair dresser do it. all I have to say is if you are going to get it done get it done nicely.

You can always use hair imaging software where you can upload your photo on and click on different hairstyles to get an idea what would suit you. Some hair salons have the same thing available for use; call around to see if any of them can help.



You sound a bit apprehensive; understandable, especially if your hair is considerably long right now. Such a radical change is bound to stir up the butterflies in the stomach.

And if you are cutting off more than 10 inches, please consider donating your hair to Locks of Love or a similar organization that helps provide hairpieces to kids with medical hair loss (alopecia, cancer, etc.)



But whatever you do, do what makes YOU happy, not for somebody else. It's YOUR hair after all and you should do with it what you will. That being said, you should be a bit adventurous. It's just hair; it grows back.
