I love black men with dreadlocks. Don't go dreading your locks, wait a while before you make such a drastic decision. Dreadlock wearers always at one time or another get notion to cut off their dreads. It's called choplock syndrome LOL. Just think about the reason you grew dreads in the first place. Think about your spiritual connection. Sometime just a change in how your wear them helps get past this. I personally think men with dreads are sexier than those without. It depends on the kind of woman you want. Personally I am college educated %26amp; child free by choice and am working on my second bachelors degree and i prefer an African American man with a substantial amount of hair. It can be dreads, braids, twists, nice tapered afro, it stands out and breaks a tired outdated stereotype, and stands for confidence. I notice that similar preferences hold true for my peers. I admit i am a bit bias because i have natural dreads down to my waist and my BF loves them. :)



I have noticed that the higher level of formal or informal education an individual has the more open minded, progressive, and tolerant they are when it comes to anything having to do with appearance.



If you are into the very conservative, stereotypical, aspects of our culture than a simple fade might be for you. Though there are exceptions the style usually seems to attract the ';lil kim'; excessively urban type of females that you usually see on campy talk shows.



I hope some answerer's weren't trying to imply that short african american hair=clean and long African American hair=dirty because that would be very short sighted not to mention untrue/inaccurate, as would basing the entire criteria for your dating preference on the prejudice notion of skin tone and not personality.



Oh ';....'; it seems like your math teacher might be an African American man, just because you are terrible at math doesnt meen you should spread hate sweet pea.

I don't like guys with dreads.. I like short hair, but my sister loves guys with dreads!
