Styling for short hair cut?

I want to get a pixie type cut that tousled and somewhat spiked but and straight. Right now i have shoulder length wildly curly hair. My hair is somewhat thin and rather fine. What should I get to style it when I get my hair cut? Thanks in advance =DStyling for short hair cut?
unless you have naturally really lose curls then i think the only way you'll be able to keep your pixie cut straight is with a hair dryer and flattening iron.

DONT DO THE PIXIE CUT!!! Your hair type will not work with pixie cuts! Unless, you get it permanently straightened.
OMG! My hair is then and rather fine and I just got it cut short! I got an inverted bob and ot be its adorable!
