Brushing hair while conditionin?

is it a bad idea to brush your hair after you have condished( just before you wash it out) and then to keep brushing it out while you wash it out?

does this cause more damage to the hair?

does it make the oil glands ';open up more';?Brushing hair while conditionin?
The only thing that makes the glands open up more is the temperature of the water. Cold water makes them constrict, hot water makes them open. Though most people suggest a warm water shower will help the most. Brushing it just gets all the gross tangles out that you would have to deal with after you towel dried your hair.Brushing hair while conditionin?
As long as you use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers, getting tangles out while the conditioner is still in your hair is very good for your hair. It prevents the breakage you would get if you just hopped out of the shower and started brushing and drying your hair.
nope brushing it actually helps get the conditoner more evenly through your hair!!!

no damage at all it actually helps!

oil will be spead once ur hair is dry and you brush it to much then you will be ditributing the oil through out.
It can if your hair tangles. You should only use a wide tooth comb and you should only start at the ends and work to the scalp.

I know because before I went natural I had a pretty lengthy locks and that is what I did.

There is no oil glands in your scalp. But it stimulates your hair follicles. Try a conditioner listed at the below address it works wonders on the scalp.
no such thing... never brush or comb hair while it's wet.

sorry, simple as that.

oil glands don't do such things.. they happen naturally and mostly when you sleep....

forget those myths.
i hope not cuz i do the same thing with a comb!! lol
